As I sat at the orientation meeting at Lehigh the other day (in my old Economics 101 class room) the speaker posed a question. He asked the students what makes an entrepreneur. There were a wide range of answers but here's what it came down to. An entrepreneur is someone who decides to take a product or idea that inspires the way people think or behave to the world.

It's approaching the end of summer and almost time for a new school year to start. While awaiting this transition, kids often find themselves bored from day to day. Jorge was very affable, friendly, and spoke perfect English. Turned out that he had lived for some time the states, in New Jersey. We checked in that evening to our hotel, the Dann Carlton. We had chosen this hotel as it is located in the Mariscol area, known for great restaurants, and lots of good shops. We wanted a nice hotel, not too expensive, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Other choices might have been the JW Marriott or the Swissotel, also hotels in the nearby area. Our tour company, Stanford Travel Systems arranged our tours, transfers, Galapagos cruise, and the flights to the Galapagos Islands.

Nature is fascinating and nothing more so than tornados. The force of them is something no mankind can control, thus makes us interested. A few more houses down and across the street was the home of Gilbert Roland and Constance Bennett. Roland died of cancer in the early 90s. His wife for a few years at this house was actress Constance Bennett, they were only married a few years. She went on to marry several very rich men. Shortly after finishing her final movie, she suffered a Cerebral Hemorrhage, collapsed and died. Roland next married Guillermina Cantu, he was married to her for 40 years.
